A small town nestled in the San Juan Mountains near the headwaters of the Rio Grande River is home to one of the most peculiar tourist attractions in Colorado. This 40-foot-long aluminum fork is the longest in the United States (and possibly the world). Commissioned as a unique birthday present for the owner of the Cascada Bar & Grill, this enormous piece of cutlery was constructed by local artists Chev and Ted Yund. Weighing in at over 600 pounds, the fork was designed specifically to surpass the previous record holder in Missouri.
